Indonesia Govt. Allocated IDR 120 tn Danantara Profit to Strengthen Fiscal Buffer

Indonesia’s Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa said the planned IDR 120 tn profit contribution from BPI Danantara will be used to strengthen the govt.’s fiscal buffer, rather than directly reduce next year’s fiscal deficit. The distribution is still under discussion with Danantara but is expected to be implemented in 2026 following President Prabowo Subianto’s directive. The govt. capped the 2026 Makan Bergizi Gratis (MBG) budget at IDR 240 tn, with the Finance Minister expecting actual implementation to remain below the cap and potentially below IDR 200 tn. The budget had previously been reduced from IDR 330 tn to IDR 270 tn and then IDR 240 tn through efficiency measures by the National Nutrition Agency (BGN). The Ministry of Finance will monitor MBG implementation through Satuan Pelayanan Pemenuhan Gizi (SPPG), with potential budget reductions for units that fail to implement the program properly. Rukun Raharja (RAJA) Completed 5% Acquisition in Layar Nusantara Gas

RAJA, through its 99.99%-owned subsidiary PT Raharja Gas Kasuri, completed the acquisition of a 5% stake in PT Layar Nusantara Gas from Genting LNG Pte. Ltd. on 4 Sep-26. The transaction completed the Share Sale and Purchase Agreement signed on 29 Apr-26 and forms part of RAJA’s strategic partnership with Genting Berhad to develop and operate Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) facilities. PT LNG is developing Indonesia’s first midstream and FLNG facilities related to the Kasuri Block project in West Papua.
