Cheniere Energy (LNG) Completes Corpus Christi Stage 3 Expansion

Cheniere Energy has completed the Stage 3 expansion at its Corpus Christi LNG plant in South Texas, lifting total output across its two US facilities by more than 20% to around 56 Mtpa. The expansion comprises seven LNG trains with 10 Mtpa of additional capacity, following construction that began in 2022 and first LNG production in Dec-24. The ramp-up comes as US LNG becomes increasingly important in backfilling global supply disruptions linked to the Middle East conflict. (Bloomberg)

Astra International (ASII) Announced Voluntary Tender Offer for Astra Otoparts (AUTO)

ASII announced a voluntary tender offer to acquire up to 238.44 mn AUTO shares, representing 4.94% of AUTO’s issued and paid-up capital, at IDR 3,600/sh. The transaction has a maximum value of IDR 858.39 bn and, if fully completed, would increase ASII’s ownership in AUTO from 80% to 84.94%. The co. will fund the tender offer using internal cash. Dayamitra Telekomunikasi (MTEL)–Tower Bersama Infrastructure (TBIG) Merger Plan Resurfaced

Danantara will confirm the potential merger between MTEL and TBIG with Telkom Indonesia (TLKM), as the plan remains subject to further review and has not reached a final decision. The potential merger, previously discussed in 2025, could combine two major tower operators with a combined estimated value of around IDR 90 tn, while MTEL recorded 1Q26 revenue of IDR 2.3 tn with an 82.7% EBITDA margin.
